Sattler College Announces Class of 2028

Introducing the Class of 2028!

Sattler College is thrilled to introduce the Class of 2028, a remarkable group of 22 students from across the globe. This is a historic year for Sattler, as it marks the first class to start with the Entrustment Tuition model, meaning these students will pay no tuition in exchange for committing to kingdom service and financial gratitude.

Sattler's class of 2028 poses for a picture at Toah Nipi.

Before starting their academic year, the Class of 2028 participated in the annual New Student Retreat at Toah Nipi Retreat Center, situated on the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. This cherished tradition fosters team-building and camaraderie, with highlights including a challenging hike up Mount Monadnock. During the retreat, students are encouraged to forge relationships that will support them throughout their Sattler journey.

The Class of 2028 represents 11 states and 6 international countries, bringing a wealth of experiences and perspectives to Boston. We are excited to welcome 9 international students, whom we were able to give F-1 visas to allow them to study here. The class is evenly split between male and female students, with an age range of 17 to 35 and an average age of 22.

Our students come from a variety of church backgrounds, including Anabaptist (7), non-denominational (6), as well as Catholic, Lutheran, Pentecostal, Evangelical, Seventh Day Adventist, and Followers of the Way. This diversity enhances the richness of our community.

Academically, the class’s testing scores average in the 75th percentile, with many students coming from homeschooling or private Christian school backgrounds. Notably, ten of the students are first-generation college students.

Now, with classes in full swing, the returning students and faculty have eagerly welcomed the new class, and the entire Sattler community is excited to witness their growth in knowledge, faith, and service.
