Cost

Cost

In light of rising tuition costs and the growing burden of student debt, Sattler College is committed to making higher education more accessible and affordable. These opportunities are made possible through the generosity of donors who believe in investing in the next generation of Christian leaders.

Entrustment Tuition

Sattler College has made the radical move of awarding all of our accepted students a fully-funded tuition in exchange for a student's dedication to kingdom service or financial gratitude.

Entrustment Tuition represents an investment of time, effort, and financial resources into the student with the expectation that they will serve God joyfully and vigorously for the rest of their lives. In a world that is grappling with the value of a college education and its associated debt, we trust each student will see the value of their education and, absent of piling debt, will choose to enable those who come after them to have the same opportunities.

Sattler College is choosing to see students as trustworthy investments for the Kingdom of God.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Full-time Enrollment: Be accepted and enrolled in an undergraduate or certificate program.
  • Commitment to Entrustment: Sign the Student Agreement committing to read, understand, and honor Sattler College’s Principles of Entrustment.
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress: Maintain satisfactory academic progress with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Good Standing in Discipleship Program: Maintain good standing in the discipleship program by passing 6 of 8 terms.
  • Less Than 8 Terms: Complete their program in 8 terms or less. Enrollment beyond eight terms will result in a shift to ‘Non-Degree Seeking’ tuition.

Your Financial Responsibility

After Entrustment (which is an estimated annual investment of $37,000 per student from our generous donors!), our students are left with only the cost of living expenses, books, and so forth. Please see our Entrustment page for a full breakdown of remaining costs.

Awards & Grants

Each of Sattler’s accepted students is offered the opportunity to become an “Entrusted Scholar,” since to be accepted, he/she has already demonstrated a high degree of competence and discipleship. Entrusted scholars are awarded fully-funded tuition in exchange for their dedication to kingdom service and financial gratitude. Awards and grants are opportunities for our most distinguished students in addition to Entrustment.

In this program, students can work part-time jobs on campus or in the community while attending school. Work-study jobs may be related to your field of study, and they can help you gain valuable experience and build your resume. Most semesters, Sattler will have a few positions available for students to fill. Current students should check their Populi homepage for a list of available positions.

External Scholarships

Many organizations offer scholarships for students in specific fields, typically requiring an application and an essay explaining why you are a strong candidate. Sattler College encourages students to research and apply for these external scholarships. To explore opportunities within your chosen major, feel free to consult your program coordinator.
