Yasanka “Yash” Chalasani holds a BBA in Finance from Baylor University and an MD from Baylor College of Medicine. He serves as an Associate at RA Capital, a life sciences-focused investment firm in Boston.

Yash grew up in a Hindu family in the Bible Belt. It wasn’t until college – when he met people whose lives had been transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ – that he began asking questions about Christianity himself. His faith journey eventually brought him to Boston and included a gap year in medical school, during which he served as an Instructor of Biology at Sattler College while also completing courses in the school’s core curriculum. Now an Adjunct Professor, Yash draws on his clinical training to lead a case-based Pathophysiology course for senior Biology majors.
