After 18 years as a professional firefighter with the Lexington, Kentucky Fire Department, Mr. Buxton has retired and relocated from Kentucky with his wife and their eight children to Boston, MA.

Mr. Buxton graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Safety Engineering, specializing in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation. He holds numerous EMS and fire-related certifications, which he obtained through out his 18-year career with the Lexington Fire Department. During his tenure, he served in the supervisory role as Lieutenant and later as Assistant Building Maintenance Supervisor bringing together experience in emergency services, facilities management, and a genuine love of serving others.

His journey has also taken him abroad, including a time of living in Uganda, which assisted in giving him a global perspective and opportunities to grow in serving others. He is excited about the opportunity to join Sattler as Campus Operations Manager, where he can support the mission and help advance the Kingdom of God through excellence in campus operations.
