Stan Kornelsen graduated summa cum laude from Sattler College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Religious Studies and a minor in Business. Before joining Sattler, Stan developed a diverse professional background by teaching elementary school for several years, completing cross-cultural internships in Egypt and Uganda, and working at various roles in his family’s business. Stan is passionate about Sattler’s vision and is thrilled with the opportunity to contribute to its mission.

Stan is an active member of a house church in Mississauga, Canada, where he lives with his wife, Chelsey. He is passionate about seeing the kingdom of God transform others’ lives as it has his own. Having lived in five countries, Stan enjoys exploring new cities and embracing different cultures. He has a love for languages and is currently studying Egyptian Arabic. In his free time, Stan enjoys reading a thought-provoking book, running in his neighborhood, identifying migratory birds, and spending quality time with family and friends.
