Myron Miller

Board of Trustees

Myron Miller earned a BA in both History and English Literature at Westmont College and an MA in History at the University of California Santa Barbara. His area of concentration was Medieval and Early Modern Europe with an emphasis on the History of Christianity. His studies sparked a lifelong interest in how understanding the past can inform our engagement with a fast changing present.

After teaching briefly at both Rosedale Bible College and Sharon Mennonite Bible Institute in the 80’s and 90’s, Myron has since been engaged in the travel industry, helping to build a business centered on international humanitarian and missionary travel. He has visited 36 countries and has led many European tours.

Current interests include trying to understand how Christians can best navigate competing cultural, intellectual, and political “isms” that vie for Christians’ loyalty.

Myron grew up in South Central Kansas where he now lives with his wife Rhoda. They have two sons and a daughter. They are members of Word of Life Mennonite Church in South Hutchinson, Kansas.

Myron and Rhoda raised their family on a small farm, raising registered cattle. Today Myron finds that early morning walks through his pastures, observing his herds, doing his chores, and soaking in brilliant Kansas sunrises, always seem to make the rest of the day better.
