Kristen Buxton

Board of Trustees

Kristen is a devoted homeschool mom of 7 and wife to Steven for 18 years.  She finds inspiration from her degree in Occupational Therapy and strength from her deep love of Jesus and her commitment to the Kingdom of God.

Kristen’s dedication to education is driven by her profound belief in the potential of every person. Drawing from her background as an occupational therapist, she strives to understand the diverse needs of her children and seeks out innovative approaches, adaptive strategies, and resources to support their growth and development.  She is committed to helping her children, with and without learning disabilities, overcome obstacles and thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through her own personal experiences and professional background, she is well-versed in the challenges students face and hopes to actively work to help them receive the necessary support and resources

Residing in Kentucky, she has been involved in local homeschooling networks and faith-based organizations.  She wholeheartedly believes in the power of community and believes that by coming together, families can uplift, support, and inspire one another.

Kristen is excited about her role on the Board of Trustees of Sattler College and using her experience and knowledge to assist Sattler in the vision of training graduates for a lifetime of impact for Jesus and His church.
