Charlton Sweazy

Board of Trustees

Mr. Sweazy is a former professional firefighter and has spent the last 11 years focusing on discipleship and church planting. Charlton has served on multiple non-profit boards for the previous 10 years. In 2015, Charlton and his family moved to Uganda, East Africa, with a focus on Kingdom expansion. During his time in Uganda, Charlton and his team planted a church in Kampala, the capital city, and also started a Christian resource center near the city’s largest university.  The resource center serves as a lighthouse for many to engage with scriptures, most specifically by using a biblical literacy curriculum that Charlton developed called “Creation to New Creation.”

Charlton and his wife Natasha have four biological children and six adopted children from Uganda. As a family, they are passionate about the Kingdom of God and seeing “His Kingdom come on earth” through loving obedience to Jesus and radical love for their neighbors. Charlton is currently the director of an English learning center for immigrants located just outside of Boston, MA.
