    Calculating Your Cost of Attendance

Your need is determined by comparing the total anticipated costs of a Sattler education in a given year with the financial contribution expected from you and your family. Financial aid (scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study) is offered to help fund your education.

We have provided a typical Sattler student cost of attendance worksheet to assist you in weighting your family's financial resources.

INDIRECT COSTS: We have estimated your direct billed costs to be as indicated below, however you should anticipate the indirect cost of books, supplies, transportation, and personal expenses to be approximately $2,600 annually.

SATTLER GRANT: Any degree-seeking student who applies to Sattler College and is accepted is given a Sattler Grant for $13,500 per academic semester. Students must be enrolled in a full-time course to be eligible for this grant. If you do the math, students who apply and are accepted to Sattler College for a bachelor's degree that typically takes four years to complete (or eight semesters) can receive up to $108,000 in funding.

WORST CASE: The worst case scenario for an accepted Sattler student is being billed $10,000 in tuition, $9,800 for room and board, and $450 for registration and other fees for a total of $20,250 for fall and spring semesters. However, each student is also automatically considered for other merit based scholarships through their completed application and is also able to submit requested for need based financial aid after completed additional financial forms in addition to their application.

Below is a sample worksheet that students can use to calculate the cost of attendance and different ways to fund attending Sattler College (i.e. Church Contribution, Parent & Family Contribution, employment/work-study, summer employment, etc.).
