What is the cost of tuition?

Sattler College does not charge tuition! Instead we ask our students to commit to a lifetime of kingdom service and financial gratitude, giving back to the institution as they are able, during or after their time as a student. More information can be found here.

Other costs, such as room and board, still need to considered.

Is the SAT, ACT, or CLT exam required to complete the application?

Yes. An applicant must submit results from an SAT, ACT, or CLT exam. The SAT subject tests are optional.

Does Sattler require a minimum SAT/ACT/CLT score or GPA?

No. We believe a student’s standardized test scores and high school grades cannot describe a person’s entire academic potential. We welcome all students interested in Sattler to apply.

Is it possible to take and send my SAT, ACT, or CLT results after the application deadline, but before the decision notification date?

The College requires applicants to submit SAT, ACT or CLT test scores at the time of their application submission. After the deadline, students who wish to retake the exam and resubmit their improved scores are welcome to do so. For students with special circumstances, please contact us for more information.

Does Sattler accept funding from the government?

Sattler College does not accept funding from any government entity. The College believes it is essential to operate independently as a Christian institution in order to promote the historic Christian faith in accordance with the College’s mission and founding precepts.

Sattler is an independent, not-for-profit educational organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Does Sattler College accept federal financial aid?

The College is not certified as a Title IV institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. As a result, Sattler is ineligible to accept federal financial aid in Title IV programs which includes Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Direct Loans, etc.

Is Sattler College an accredited institution?

Sattler College is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) [15935 Forest Road, Forest, VA 24551; Telephone: (434) 525-9539; email: info@tracs.org], having been awarded Accredited Status as a Category II institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on October 26, 2021. This status is effective for a period of five years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education (ED), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

Does Sattler accept transfer students or transfer credits?

Sattler College welcomes the possibility of transfer students on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for more information.

Where is Sattler’s campus?

Our campus is on the 17th floor of 100 Cambridge Street, located in the heart of downtown Boston.

Where will students live?

The College provides gender-separated housing for single students in Boston’s Back Bay (a 20-minute walk to campus). Each building has student resident advisors.

Sattler will work with married students on a case-by-case basis to find optimal housing.

Does the tuition vary if you are in-state vs. out-of-state vs. international?

No, the tuition cost is the same regardless of where you are from.

What is the yearly cost of living in Boston?

The cost of living will vary per student depending on factors such as room and board decisions, health insurance, food, books, transportation, personal expenses etc. The cost of room and board makes up the majority of cost of living and the College is actively exploring options to drive this as low as possible.

Does Sattler offer scholarships?

Yes! We offer full Entrustment to all our regular students, which means we do not charge them tuition. However, there are still costs associated with room and board in our student housing. Even for these costs, we offer merit-based and need-based monetary awards that can range from a portion to all of the costs associated with a college education. Inquiries from students for any Sattler scholarships are discussed on a case-by-case basis once an applicant has applied and is accepted.

Is Sattler College affiliated with a specific church?

Sattler College operates as an independent educational institution with no formal ties to any specific church, embracing a nondenominational or interdenominational approach. Still, the churches that our board members, faculty, and staff attend naturally influence the various aspects of the institution. There are no requirements for employees or students to attend a specific church or set of churches.
